As a songwriter, Chris’s journey began early. At just 11 years old, he was already writing songs and creating melodies.
In a time before smartphones, Chris would call his home answering machine to leave himself melody and lyric ideas—proving that inspiration waits for no one! This resourceful start set the foundation for a lifetime of creativity.
Throughout his career, Chris has remained an avid songwriter.
From collaborating with close theatre friends to create an unpublished musical to recording countless songs over the years (some lost to time), his dedication to songwriting has been unwavering.
While working as a resident performer at the Eldorado Casino in Reno, Nevada, Chris recorded his first-ever album, The Trials of Life, in 2000.
Though the project never saw the light of day—Chris humorously admits the production quality was “terrible”—it was a valuable learning experience that fueled his growth as an artist.
Today, Chris keeps the only copy of that album under lock and key but hopes to re-record some of his favourite tracks from that era.
Now, Chris writes and produces original music for release, channeling years of life experience into songs that resonate deeply. His debut single, available on 12th December, marks a new chapter in his creative journey—a testament to his evolution as an artist and his passion for storytelling through music.
As a choreographer, artistic director, and producer, Chris’s artistic flair extends beyond the spotlight. He has brought bold and creative visions to life in projects like Saucy Jack and the Space Vixens and The Great Gatsby. His ability to weave storytelling through movement, music, and production design highlights his unique approach to the performing arts.
In addition to his onstage and behind-the-scenes work, Chris has made significant contributions to performing arts education. Though no longer training future performers first-hand, he continues consulting on performing arts education, influencing programs worldwide. His expertise in singing, musical theatre, acting, and dance continues to shape the next generation of performers on a global scale.
Now based in sunny Spain, Chris continues to bring his dynamic presence and exceptional musical talent to every stage and venue he performs at.
As the resident host at Minnelli’s cabaret show bar and a regular singer at Billie’s Piano Bar and Speakeasy, Chris captivates audiences with his versatile repertoire and charismatic performances.
